Definition and Usage

The DefaultButton property is used to set or return the id of the default button for the Panel Control.

This property is used to specify which button gets clicked when the Panel control has focus and the "ENTER" key is pressed.

Syntax

<asp:Panel DefaultButton="button_id" runat="server">

Attribute Description
button_id The id of the button to use as default button


Example

The following example sets the DefaultButton for a Panel control:
